Reconciling several opinions, in testimony of her, and confuting others, in vindication of him, against two scandalous authors; 1. The court and character of King James, 2. The history of Great Britain. Herein is expressed, the particular affairs of church and state: the reformation of the one, the policies and passages of the other. The frequent disturbances of both, by wars, conspiracies, tumults, and treasons, with the contemporary actions of neighbor nations, in reference to this whole island.
